Our client, a government department is seeking an experienced Ministerial Officer to jump in and hit the ground running!
Main duties include;
Assisting with research and preparation of briefing notes, parliamentary questions and ministerial/Managing Director/Commissioner correspondence.
Maintaining a ministerial correspondence tracking spreadsheet
Monitoring progress and following up outstanding requests
Preparing Directorate weekly ministerial performance reports developing and maintaining various business management procedure manuals for business support officers
Provide the team with business, administration and clerical support
Excellent written communication, with experience in Ministerial correspondence and processes
Research, analysis and problem solving
Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task to meet work schedules and deadlines
A range of computer software, including MS word, excel and outlook
Dealing with and maintaining confidential information and documents
Strong attention to detail
