Occupational Therapist – Maryborough

  • Thriving Allied Health private practice based in Maryborough and servicing the Fraser Coast and surrounding areas of the Wide Bay.

    With increasing demand for quality services, they are expanding the team and looking for highly motivated, exceptional therapists to join. With a comprehensive training and mentor program available, they also encourage new graduates to apply.

    They provide a range of services including comprehensive assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, equipment prescription, sports medicine, home modifications, hand therapy and chronic disease management. Services are provided in the well-equipped clinic, at client’s homes and in the community. Therapists will see clients independently or as part of the treatment team with colleagues and in groups. Company vehicle supplied for work.

    The Role

    You’ll provide holistic, expert care to facilitate and enhance the health, wellness and independence of the clients. To support you in providing an amazing service, you will be joining an experienced multidisciplinary team with great administrative support. You will participate in a range of training and professional development opportunities, and you will be working in a great environment with awesome people who do amazing work and have fun along the way.

    Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary degree qualification/s in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Current National Police Certificate
  • Current Drivers License
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Compassionate, friendly and professional attitude
  • Amazing customer service skills and desire to make a difference to the lives of the people you work with.
  • The salary package will be dependent on the applicant, but will be competitive with above award salary, performance bonuses, ongoing training and career development opportunities.
