As the Operations Manager , you will manage our Victorian operations function across a number of our service contracts whilst expanding our business. By using your extensive knowledge of market conditions and current networks, you will be instrumental in growing our commercial services presence and achieving financial growth. What you will be doing: •Be regarded as a trusted partner by key client stakeholders •Develop and manage sales operating budgets •Provide strong leadership, coach, mentor and inspire your teams •Oversee and manage a number sites and clients •Act as the key relationship holder with existing clients, contract extensions and renewals •Meet our contractual obligations and delight our clients by exceeding their expectations •Meet KPI’s consistently – scheduled site inspections, incident reporting, safety audits, regular client communication •Ensure that our high levels of cleaning standards exceed contract requirements – maintain compliance standards and quality systems Business Development / Networking •Drive strategic development and growth of the business •Identify new markets and attract new customer opportunities •Be responsible for the strategic development and growth of the business in current and evolving market segments •Secure new large-scale and top-tier client contracts to achieve sales and profit targets to significantly expand the Assetlink business You will have: •Previous experience in operations/facilities management working in a large scale services environment •Demonstrated track record of managing sites in the transport, supermarket chains, cleaning or aged care sector •Strong financial, commercial and contractual understanding •Ability to build and develop effective strategic relationships across complex, multi-dimensional environments •Ability to convert potential prospects into new clients, using superior influencing skills •Professional verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills •Significant experience within a operations management position with the ability to motivate your team •Thorough working knowledge on the use and general maintenance of mechanical cleaning equipment – preferred •Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure to meet deadlines •Can-do attitude with high energy and resilience The potential growth opportunities mean that there are exciting times ahead and will give this position a unique chance to make a difference by establishing an environment which fosters high morale, performance, ethical behaviour and the general well-being of our teams.
