Our Gordon service is packed full of potential and is waiting for its next leader. This small service has a fantastic ongoing assistant educator to welcome you into this new exciting role, along with a warm, friendly and inviting school community.

THE ROLE

  • Mentor, lead and guide your team of educators
  • Develop and maintain a fun, safe and compliant program
  • Daily planning and organisation of the service’s activities
  • Supervise and support a group of primary aged children
  • Preparation and serving of healthy food options
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community
  • Nurture a positive environment for learning
  • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Personal transport to get you to and from work daily
  • 2+ years’ experience working with children 
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care of Bachelor Degree in Education and Care (or evidence of actively working towards the qualification)
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check & Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain)
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates (or willing to obtain)
  • Full availability Monday to Friday 7:00am – 9:00am and 2:30pm – 6:00pm
