Paediatric Social Worker – Level 1/2 

The Paediatric Social Worker is based within the Child and Family Allied Health Team at Tamworth Community Health Service. You will be supported by a fulltime Level 3 Paediatric Social Worker and work alongside other professionals within the Child and Family Allied Health Team including but not exclusive to Aboriginal Health Workers, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists. You will provide coverage of inpatient wards at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital’s (TRRH) Maternity, Children’s and Special Care Nursery and Outpatient responsibilities including parenting group work. 

You will have the ability to work independently, and have strong communication and problem solving skills and work with a holistic trauma informed and child protection lens.
