What You’ll Be Doing
The Patient Administration System (PAS) Manager is responsible for coordinating the planning, implementation and management of activities relevant to the Cerner Person Management, Profile and Scheduling modules for various projects and business as usual work undertaken in South Western Sydney Local Health District. This position is also responsible for assisting the Manager Clinical Information Systems with policies and procedures relevant to the medico-legal aspects of the eMR.
The position will be required to liaise with District and Facility Health Information Managers, as well as the Performance Unit and other relevant eMR staff within SWSLHD to ensure that build standards and mandatory patient reporting requirements are met.
Although this position will be based at ICT Services, Liverpool Eastern Campus, there may be a requirement to work from other South Western Sydney Local Health District facilities to undertake train the trainer sessions, facilitate user acceptance testing, support projects, implementation of new PAS functionality and training PAS support officers at facilities in patient reconciliation and data correction procedures.
