Temporary Full Time for 12 months, 38 hrs p.f. with possibility of extension
Purpose of the Role
Deliver high level clinical services as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing comprehensive pain management programs in group and individual formats; educate and upskill healthcare workforce locally and in outreach locations; facilitate telehealth assessment and intervention; and assist with estabilishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement strategy locally and in rural/remote locations.
The position also acts as a resource person in pain management for staff, service managers and health care consumers of the Cairns and Hinterland Health and Hospital Service and the secondary catchment area of Far North Queensland.
It is a condition of employment for the employee in this role to be, and remain, vaccinated against or non-susceptible to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPDs): Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough) and Hepatitis B.
