Movement Laboratory is rapidly growing, we are constantly looking for new talents to join our team in Leichhardt. We are Physiotherapists with Clinical Pilates experience and we offer both part time and full time contracts for the right candidate. Physiotherapists with an interest in women’s health, sports and dance are given first preference. New graduates with the right Pilates experience are welcomed to apply. CURRENT PHYSIOTHERAPIST POSITION OPENING
Leichhardt practice is looking for a Physiotherapist, preferably with Pilates experience with full cert qualification. We are looking for a part time physiotherapist to start around October 2020 to then convert to a full time position and grow with our clinic if everything suits!
We treat all musculoskeletal conditions, with 1 physio certified in Connect Therapy, 2 physios whose main interests are in dance and sports physio, and 1 on Women’s Health. We are all certified in Pilates Studio instruction. So if you have Women’s Health/ Dance/ Pilates background, that would be a huge plus and potential to become a permanent team member of ours.
Physios with at least 1 year private practice experience required.
The role is evenly split between treating and teaching unless otherwise specified. Physiotherapy includes treating mostly musculoskeletal and sports conditions with manual therapy and hands on work. Pilates work involves taking initials, privates and group sessions (up to 3 patients per hour).
The role needs a lot of flexibility to work along side the patient from initial injury to exercise based functional work, and intertwine these in sessions as required to get the best outcome. The ideal candidate would have full studio Pilates Certification and interested in ongoing professional development to up skill.
