About the Role
Utilise high-level clinical skills, knowledge and independent professional judgement to manage a varied and complex caseload within the ambulatory podiatry high risk foot services of MNHHS, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards. The setting is a hospital podiatry outpatient clinic for the management of complex foot conditions in a multi-disciplinary environment
Develop effective professional relationships with patients and other healthcare providers in the multi-disciplinary team to influence clinical outcomes
Apply clinical evidence to initiate service improvement activities to improve the knowledge base within ambulatory podiatry services of MNHHS and contribute to high-level quality research
Enhance clinical practice, knowledge and expertise within the clinical speciality through active learning within the team and by engaging in both formal and in-formal professional development
Contribute to effective team dynamics and client relationships utilising high-level communication and negotiation skills
Facilitate the translation of evidence into practice through the provision of clinical practice supervision and/or clinical development of staff, students, community based ambulatory podiatrists and multidisciplinary contemporaries.
