About Infrastructure NSW
Infrastructure NSW provides specialist advice to the NSW Government on infrastructure investment and prioritisation. We are an independent statutory agency, established under the Infrastructure NSW Act 2011. Infrastructure NSW’s core functions include providing independent and strategic advice to ensure infrastructure investment decisions are underpinned by robust assessment and long term planning; monitoring NSW’s infrastructure program through independent reviews and expert analysis; recommending infrastructure projects to the NSW Treasurer for funding from the Restart NSW fund; and managing the procurement and delivery of nominated priority projects. Barangaroo is responsible for managing the creation of an exciting new city waterfront precinct, bringing the government and private sector together to deliver world-class urban design, public domain and sustainability initiatives. Barangaroo is the most important reinvention of Sydney’s historic centre for decades. The precinct is a globally significant, 22-hectare, $6+ billion waterfront renewal project that redefines the western edge of Sydney Harbour. It will be a lasting legacy of 21st Century urban renewal for future generations. Projects NSW is a specialist unit within Infrastructure NSW that was established in late 2015 to manage the procurement and delivery of nominated priority infrastructure projects. About the role
The Precinct Manager plays an active stakeholder engagement and coordination role working with Barangaroo Precinct delivery partners and stakeholders across the full functions of Activation and Precinct Management including direct engagement with precinct commercial tenants, businesses, representatives and delivery teams at all levels of operations.
The Precinct Manager is responsible for the coordination and administration of the Barangaroo Precinct to deliver Work Healthy & Safety (WHS), Security and Facilities Management outcomes that align to organisational priorities and legislative requirements.
