Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Perth office:

What can you expect?

A senior broking opportunity has become available in our corporate team based in Perth. 

This role involves working within this highly successful, dynamic team of professionals, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding a corporate portfolio of accounts across various industries as well as contributing to the servicing demands of some complex, high-priority accounts owned by senior colleagues.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage all aspects of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring that a high degree of quality customer service is provided to our clients at all times
  • Manage, mentor, co-ordinate and develop the team members through clear and effective communication, delegation and performance management
  • Contribute towards the Company’s profit objectives through the effective management and attainment of revenue and expense budgets
  • Consistently grows the portfolio of accounts through new business contribution and cross-sell initiatives
  • Contribute towards achieving Divisional and Team business plans and objectives.
  • Create quality-underwriting submissions and effectively negotiates with insurers and other stakeholders
  • Proactively approach Client retention and implement defensive strategies to pre-empt any exposure to losing accounts at all times
  • Continually develop professional skills by engaging in Professional Development courses
  • Adhere strictly to the Company’s Quality practices and other systems and procedures
  • Comply fully with the Company’s Errors and Omissions avoidance policy

What you need to have: 

  • Strong experience in property and casualty will be preferred
  • Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) or degree in related field
  • Excellent client management, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage team effectively
  • Strong business acumen
