**A little bit about the team and the role…**

As Product Manager, your role sits within our Residential Property Advertising (RPA) tribe, within the Customer Product and Experience line of business. The RPA team is responsible for delivering the core suite of advertising products to help our customers, residential real estate agencies and agents and their customers, vendors and landlords, sell and lease property on realestate.com.au.

This role will give you the opportunity to work across REA’s largest revenue generating product portfolio. You’ll get to experience exciting new product development, work with a dedicated delivery team and help us drive customer value along with the adoption of new technology.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone to help us build more commercial muscle across the team, so if you’re a Product Manager with a real knack for numbers and data, and can help us demonstrate value to our customers/customer needs/segmentation/pricing, then please read on…

**While no two days are the same, you’ll get to…**

+ Contribute to the Residential product vision and strategy and translate this to your product portfolio

+ New product development which deliver on our strategy with a customer first mindset

+ Build close relationships with customers, sales and operations teams to leverage group capabilities to ensure successful delivery of your products

+ Lead the roadmap for your products in close collaboration with engineering and delivery, from ideation, opportunity and risk assessment, business case development (including articulating both customer and business value), discovery, prioritisation, iterative delivery, launch and go-to-market activities.

+ Own, develop and maintain business rules, product specifications and in collaboration with engineering, provisioning processes for existing and new products

+ Keep a watchful eye on competitors, market changes, potential partners, developing predictions on how the market is changing and helping define where REA needs to be positioned in the future

+ Have fun tackling hard problems with really great people, whilst Soak up knowledge from some amazing product peers across REA

**What we’re after…**

+ Solid product experience and track record – you will have at least 3-4 years experience in digital product management, preferably having some experience working for marketplaces,

+ Commercially savvy – you will be comfortable talking numbers, perhaps you have an analytics or finance background. You’ll be capable of evaluating opportunities on a risk and return basis and you will have prior experience of pricing and packaging approaches.

+ Strategic thinker – you can analyse and synthesise information on the market and connect the dots to determine an appropriate strategic approach whilst taking a whole of business perspective.

+ Customer focus – you will be very comfortable being close to customers, understanding their businesses and both their known and unarticulated needs.

+ Product marketing – you have a strong ability to craft a compelling value proposition and work as ‘partner’ with marketing, sales and support functions to deliver product to market.

+ You are an awesome communicator and problem solver – can talk shop with the developers, chat with customers and pitch a business case to executives.

+ You are someone who can engage and motivate others – experienced partnering with Design and Engineering in an Agile/Lean environment.

+ You are a fast paced leader who will love the accountability attached with driving our largest product portfolio!
