  • Our client is a well-established & leading food manufacturer who supply high quality ingredients worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor that have a background in food manufacturing industry to join the team.

    This is a HANDS-ON role , required to rotate through all Production processing areas and plant as required.

    To be successful in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding all aspects of Production Operations within the Manufacturing Areas. You will be responsible to lead the small team to deliver production targets while maintaining a great team culture, accuracy, quality and safe OH&S standards.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing a team to deliver daily production targets
  • Promote Company Culture & Values, uphold Food Safety standards and oversee site personnel safety (OHS)
  • Analyse daily staffing requirements and ensure efficient compliance to production schedules and budgets for all production process
  • Ensure compliance to SOP Standards & Policies, provide support and Training as required
  • Complete staff rosters, liaising with Labour Hire & completion of weekly timesheet for Labour Hire
  • Creating daily production schedule from master planner
  • Adhere to every aspect of the QA systems in place
  • Monitor compliance with a Food Safety System
  • Maintenance of operational checks and calibration of testing equipment
  • Monitor team performance and report metrics
  • Drive continuous improvements in production processes and procedures
  • Support the Operation Manager and assist with all other reasonable duties
  • Required skills/experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Production Supervisor
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Hands-on approach to running a factory
  • Sound knowledge of OHS & Food Safety standards (HACCP & GMP)
  • Sound knowledge & skills in computer applications, time management and project management
  • Highly reliable with proven leadership qualities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and lead a diverse workforce
