The Corporate Activity Team provides specialist support andproject management to clients in relation to their corporate activity in thebroad categories of capital raising, merger and acquisitions, dividends,distributions, Tax requirements and capital management. Many of our clientswill raise funds via the equity market, disburse dividend proceeds, engage intakeovers or use surplus funds to buy-back shares. This activity is oftencritical to our client’s corporate calendar and strategic direction.

The role:

We have an opportunity for someone to join the CorporateActivity team as a Project Co-ordinator supporting Payment Services andCorporate Actions. This is available on an 11 month contract.

The successful applicant will need to have a strong customer focus, excellentproblem solving abilities, be solutions focused and the ability to work to verytight deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaison with clients and key stakeholders to plan anddeliver project requirements within agreed deadlines
  • Manage the dispatch of documentation to shareholders and orclients
  • Liaising with Banks and Financial Institutions
  • Client reporting
  • Compliance with internal procedures and policies as well ascorporate legislation
  • Using internal systems to manage key milestones and updateinternal stakeholders
  • The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exposure and understanding of different Corporate Actionevent types and or Share registry
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and think outsidethe box to achieve the best outcomes for the business and client
  • Project Coordination or Administration experience
  • Registry, Finance or Corporate Services experience desirable
  • Willingness to learn quickly and be adaptable to a changingenvironment
  • Strong Organisational and Time management skills
