    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    As a result of rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the Change & Transformation team in Sydney for a 12 month fixed term contract, and will be accountable for the successful delivery of a large transformation project.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who enjoys a challenge with proven experience managing a project involving significant business change with the support of a cross functional project team.

    We are looking for someone who prides themselves in exceptional stakeholder management, presentation and leadership skills with proven senior project experience in the same or comparable industry.

    Your duties will include:

  • Oversee and manage the overall project delivery
  • Work with the leaders of each work package to plan, estimate and schedule relevant program activities
  • Plan and manage the delivery of project activities across work packages
  • Plan, scope and on-board resources
  • Prepare and manage project-related deliverables
  • Monitor and control the project throughout execution
  • Actively identify, monitor and escalate risks, issues and dependencies
  • Liaise and work with a wide range of internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective communication
  • Actively plan, tracking progress and implement project plans
  • Identify and resolve project schedule issues and when necessary escalate to the appropriate level of management
  • Implement and adhere to project governance and frameworks
  • Please note that as part of this recruitment process MinterEllison will utilise video conferencing software. 

    MORE ABOUT YOU

    To be suitable for this role you will need:

  • Significant project and/or program management experience (7+ years)
  • Previous experience delivering an operational excellence project
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and delivering multi-faceted projects, that consist of significant business process change and internal technology work packages.
  • Demonstrated ability in project and program management techniques and practices including, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communications, Risk
  • Demonstrated experience managing a wide spectrum of stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain sound working relationships with colleagues and management
  • Strong communication skills; particularly ability to provide high-level written reports and presentations for senior audience
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen
  • Experienced in applying agile principles to project delivery
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification or equivalent highly desirable
  • MSP or equivalent certification desirable
  • Previous experience leading a Target Operating Model (TOM) project or program
