**Role Summary / Purpose**

Under the direction of the Service Manager, support the planning and reporting needs of Complex

Outages as assigned.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Develop outage schedules for multiple projects

+ Support Job Cost Estimate (JCE) development and budgeting activities as necessary in the

+ tendering stage by analyzing historical outage scheduling data, utilizing previous project

+ experience, and applying to current project activities.

+ Establish Baseline Outage Schedules, consulting with Site leads and provide modification

+ recommendations in line with project scope.

+ Coordinate with relevant Site Personnel ensuring project hours are accurately captured to

+ appropriate project activities and physical progress has been captured adequately and in line

+ with forecasted goals

+ During outage events update outage schedule as required by the contract and deliver concise

+ progress reports (S-curves, 3 day look ahead, forecasted end dates)

+ Provide analysis and recommendation for potential project performance improvements

+ Analyze Earned Value Hours (Planned vs. Actual vs. Earned) for multiple outage projects

+ Manage interfaces with outage subcontractors

+ Develop Project Controls Plans and Work Trackers for Projects per Company Standards but

+ tailored to the needs of specific Project Scopes and Service Manager requirements.

+ Maintain Project Work Trackers as required by:

+ Coordinating with Site Teams to ensure progress has been captured accurately

+ Tracking Planned vs. Forecast

+ Tracking Earned Value Hours (Planned vs. Actual vs. Earned) for Projects by Site

+ Calculating Progress (Overall and by Site)

+ Calculating Schedule Performance Indices (Overall and by Site)

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

+ Proficient and highly knowledgeable in utilization of Primavera P6 and Microsoft project

+ software.

+ Proficient in Project Controls and Earned Value Management.

+ Demonstratable Planning experience in major/complex power plant maintenance projects.

+ Proficient in data visualization (converting raw data into useful metrics/charts)

+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)

+ Analytical mindset

+ Able to work in a multi-functional team.

+ Excellent communication and reporting skills

+ Ability to work independently

+ Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints

+ Occasional travel may be required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

+ 8+ years of demonstrated Project Controls experience in Power and/or Oil & Gas Projects.

+ Good knowledge of power plants

+ Field Experience is desired

+ Comfortable working with all levels and functions in a constructive fashion to achieve the

+ desired outcomes

+ Recognized qualifications or proven experience with Primavera & Microsoft Project planningsoftware
