Our client is a respected general insurance provider offering its clients a range of competitive and community orientated services and products. 

Reporting into the Head of Portfolio, you will have the opportunity to utilise your extensive experience as a Property Portfolio Manager to help achieve our client’s strategic and financial objectives.

Your primary purpose will be to facilitate the growth and sustainability of the property portfolio through the development of comprehensive, cost effective and competitive range of client focused insurance products and solutions. 
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing management, direction and leadership to ensure the property portfolio is managed in accordance with strategic objectives;
  • Providing guidance, product training and referral decisions where necessary to underwriting, client development and service delivery team members;
  • Reporting of monthly portfolio management data outlining key premium, claims and profitability metrics to identify key trends;
  • Providing peer reviews for property products and solutions including formal feedback to management AND
  • Completing regular technical reviews including claims analysis, rate reviews and portfolio analysis to meet operational requirements
  • To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in ISR/Property portfolio management;
  • Extensive experience in product development and innovation;
  • Budgeting and business planning experience;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that allows you to take a hands-on approach in the management of people and operational matters AND
  • A co-operative, consultative and decisive approach to leadership that allows you to navigate through complex situations as well as represent the business externally and influencing key stakeholders;
