Your role:

The Court Liaison Officer (CLO) provides mental health screening and diversion for people appearing before the Magistrate’s Court or detained in the local Watch-house. The purpose of this service is the early identification of people with a mental illness to ensure that appropriate mental health treatment, advice or referral is made. The Court Liaison Officer (CLO) also provides advice, support and training to Court and Watch house staff on mental health issues.
