Your role:

• The Mental Health Practitioner provides competent level clinical skills to ensure client-focused evidence-based care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of client care, and provides leadership and support to other staff within the Greater Whitsunday Mental Health and AOD Service.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide intake/triage, case management and crisis support function across MH, CYMHS and AO. Clinical treatment and care will be in accordance with professional standards and legislation (Queensland Mental Health Act 2016; State and National Plans and Policies).

The position is based at Proserpine Hospital. There is the expectation that successful applicant would travel to Mackay for training as required.
