Conducting comprehensive psychological and related assessments and interventions under the NDIS or other avenues via our telehealth and face to face services
Delivering counselling services to clients
Expert consultation and provision of positive behavioural support services to people with a disability and their service providers/families, in line with an individual’s NDIS plan and goals.
The development of positive behaviour support plans which can include at times the use of restrictive practices.
You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, monitoring and review of client outcomes including the training of the individual with a disability, their support staff and family members.
Liaising with other service providers to achieve positive client outcomes and receive repeat referrals
Requirements of the role:
Registration with a relevant professional body (AHPRA) (required)
Skilled and experienced in writing high-quality reports
Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum disorder and Intellectual Disability and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
Counselling experience using CBT, DBT, person-centred and trauma-informed approaches (desirable)
Experience using a wide variety of Psychological/Behaviour assessments (desirable)
