The South Flank Project is being executed by a fully Integrated Project Team (IPT), jointly established by BHP and Fluor, consisting of employees from both organisations as well as other contracting organisations as applicable. The Site QA Specialist will form part of an on-site team based at Mine Area C tasked with verifying Contractor Conformance.
The Successful Individual will responsible for oversight of on-site contractors with regards to Quality and providing direction in a proactive manner to ensure project success.
Specific activities will include:
Verifying Construction contractors contractual requirements associated with a defined scope of works
Due to the nature of the project, The QA Specialist will be have previous experience and be proficient in multiple disciplines:
Steel erection/ Installation
Position required competencies and skills:
Be self-motivated and able to work Unsupervised
Previous experience on-site preferred
Able to read and interpret drawings
Knowledge of Industry Standard AS/NZS Standards
Proficient in report writing and electronic filing
Position required qualifications:
Trade certification relevant to either Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Piping
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and or Supervision
Auditing Experience Preferred
Current and Valid Driver’s Licence
