Based out of our new Brisbane office your role will be to manage the cost plan design assessment at every design stage through to construction. These stages may include but are not limited to Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Final Design, and Issued for Construction
Required Skills and Competencies
The role requires strong quantification and costing skills across many disciplines. Identification of risks and opportunity is a key outcome of the cost planning procedure and requires skill in communicating this to the wider design, engineering, and construction teams.With experience in a similar role, you will be capable of creating and presenting accurate data for analysis and can subsequently manage the reduction of construction cost due to informed design decisions. You will have an in-depth knowledge of estimating software and the MS Office suite. Your previous experience will come from supporting other construction, rail or civil based projects providing you with a comprehensive understanding of standard method measurements.
