You’ll be a key member of our Transport team, who has secured a variety of challenging large projects. This role will predominantly involve providing Systems Engineering expertise to the North Western Program Alliance (NWPA), and support the delivery of 3 Level Crossing Removal Projects, namely, Bell to Moreland, Glenroy Road, and Bell to Preston.
In addition to our pipeline of projects in delivery, our team is also supporting a number of major projects within the development phase of the project lifecycle.
**T** his is a career shaping opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems and Safety Assurance engineer to join our team to help support the delivery of key Rail projects in Victoria.
In this role you will provide specialist engineering advice to internal and external clients. You will also be involved in but not limited to
+ Manage the systems engineering interface between the Client, Alliance team, MTM and other stakeholders
+ Establish the System Requirements Specification (SRS) as a requirement baseline based on the PRS and referenced specifications
+ Provide Traceability and Verification through the Requirements and Traceability (RTM)
+ Support design package submissions by undertaking verification of requirements at each design phase for all design packages
+ Implement the Change Management and Impact Analysis processes as and when required
+ Manage the capturing of systems requirements and their dependencies in DOORS
+ Assist in the development and delivery of the Systems Safety Assurance to provide evidence that the safety requirements derived from the process have been met.
+ Ensure system risks are identified early and processes are developed to identify and act on systems risks as early in the project life cycle as possible
**Who are you?**

You will have a proven background in Systems and Safety Assurance engineering along with Experience in implementing systems engineering framework throughout the life cycle of the project.
You will possess a familiarity with Systems engineering tools and handbooks, processes and standards.
