exists in our Community Strengthening Department for an experienced Recreation Project Officer to provide operational business and administrative support to the Recreation Team in a part-time capacity.
The role will provide immediate support on all operational business and administrative functions for the Recreation Team. Building upon the delivery of current strategic and community projects, the Recreation Project Officer will support upcoming projects, recreational programs and services across Frankston City and build upon current sport and recreational opportunities.
The role will also involve working closely across all areas of the Recreation Team to support capital works, recreational planning projects, masterplans and contract management agreements.
To be successful in the role, the incumbent must have demonstrated experience in providing professional support and assistance across various Sport and Recreation projects.
You will bring creativity and enthusiasm to this exciting role, displaying a positive ‘can do’ attitude, and be passionate to deliver high quality outcomes. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with experience in liaising with peak sporting bodies, government agencies, stakeholders and community service provider.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualifications in leisure/recreation, or relevant field.
