About the role
The Regional Manager- Clinical Safety and Quality is responsible for managing the ongoing application of the quality management system and clinical governance framework, to ensure high quality service delivery outcomes that are for our clients.
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Safety and Quality you will support and manage the regional process whilst establishing and fostering relationships with staff to ensure quality is embedded within clinical practice and all organisational programs and activities.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Review current and future Procedures and Guidelines for the Disability and Aged Care sector including the development of communication plans
Provide expertise in training, supervision and support to staff in the development of knowledge and skills in line with policies and procedures
Support and upskill client care planning, risk assessment and development of behaviour support plans as required in line with regulatory and statutory requirements
Identify supervision and mentoring processes for clinical and non-clinical staff
Support Regional Executive Managers as required for divisional accreditation requirements, undertaking local audits as per the audit calendar
Provide advice and support on the review of adverse incidents and/or Root Cause Analysis in collaboration with the Manager Accreditation and Compliance and ensure progress on the implementation of recommendations arising from such reviews
As a Registered Nurse, you will have demonstrated experience and skills in Quality and Compliance and have well-developed knowledge and experience of the Disability sector.

Current AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated experience and skills in Quality and Compliance
Well-developed Knowledge and experience of the Disability sector
Advanced written, verbal and negotiation skills
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of independence and autonomy
Well-developed time management skills ensuring stakeholder expectations are met
Well-developed computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
