    The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision and documentation of safe, effective and appropriate patient centred nursing care in a team based environment.

  • Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Recent clinical experience in acute care or emergency nursing
  • Knowledge of and willingness to work towards achieving Emergency Department Key Performance Indicators

  • Calvary Mater Newcastle public hospital in Waratah, NSW, is an Affiliated Health Organisation of NSW Health. It is the major cancer care centre for the Hunter New England Local Health District, delivering more than 320,000 occasions of outpatient services and in a excess of 16,000 inpatient treatments per year. Calvary Mater Newcastle provides an Emergency Department open 24 hours seven days a week an Intensive Care Unit, and extensive Palliative Care services including the Mercy Hospice.
