After Hours / On-Call, Bush Support Services
CRANAplus is the peak professional body for health professionals working in remote and isolated areas across Australia. We exist to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality primary healthcare to remote and isolated communities.
The Bush Support Line is a flagship service provided by CRANAplus and offers phone counselling (psychological services) twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, by a team of experienced Psychologists.
This service is available for health professionals and their families, working in remote or rural communities.
The challenges that face remote health workers in their day to day lives (both at work and just by living remotely) are different than those living with the support found in larger regional and urban areas.
CRANAplus’ Bush Support Services recognises this and offers unique and helpful resources that draw on its vast network and specialised knowledge. CRANAplus sees Bush Support Services as vital in retaining a healthy and resilient workforce in the remote sector and makes health worker support a priority.
Registered Psychologist/ Clinical Psychologists, After Hours On-Call
As a Service Contractor, experienced Psychologists join our Bush Support Services Team, to offer after hours care through an on-call roster.
Our technology structure allows Service Contractors to be located anywhere in Australia.
We work with rolling three (3) month rosters, that offers advanced notice (and some flexibility) regarding shifts engaged. The number of shifts and dates are negotiated with the Contract Psychologist to find a mutually beneficial pattern.
Being an on-call Psychologist means being available should a caller access the service, with compensation provided for on-call (no call) and on-call (call received).
It is our privilege to support our rural and remote communities, and being involved in this team provides specialized insight, growth, and collegial relationships across a closely working group of professionals.
Clinical Practice Supervision is provided by CRANAplus, as well as access and insight into our on-line clinical resources.
Think this might be up your alley?
