Cargill Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizers business develops and commercializes sustainable ingredients made from renewable and nature-derived sources each offering special qualities to food and beverage manufacturers and consumers.
The Sales Manager will maintain the sales portfolio of our speciality sweeteners and sweetener products and work directly with current and new customers. We seek a sales professional who will proactively promote speciality products including; liquid polyols, non-polyols, Stevia, Erythritol and Isomalts with a customer orientated approach and build business growth though new product solutions.
+ Build knowledge of our customers on our new products, services and prices
+ Utilise your proven knowledge of the Stevia market and sales opportunities
+ Build, monitor and revise lead generation plans to develop substantive sales opportunities
+ Help assess customer needs and identify opportunities with appropriate products, services and solutions
+ Support development and delivery of sales bids, proposals and presentations and help conduct product demonstrations
+ Help execute medium- to long-term sales plans, supporting strategies to protect, grow and diversify relationships with targeted customers
+ You will work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications / Experience**
+ Degree within food science, marketing, business
+ Minimum of two years of related work experience with sweetener ingredients, particularly with Stevia
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Commercial acumen and ability to build long standing customer relationships
+ Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
+ Travel is a requirement of this role
