In this role, you will guide the adoption of Red Hat”s solutions and technologies in the market via a set of defined partners. You”ll work closely and be aligned with the Channel Partner Manager for global system integrators (GSIs) in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). You will also work with the regional federal government account teams to meet demanding growth targets. You”ll need to have excellent sales, communication, and people skills as you”ll be a crucial part of the Red Hat Partners and Alliances and broader Red Hat sales teams, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll also have technical expertise, passion for open source, and a thorough understanding of business processes and IT problems faced by government customers. In the evangelist part of the role, you may be asked to speak at events and technical forums to everyone from chief information officers (CIOs) to user groups about Red Hat”s technologies. As a Sales Specialist, you will keep learning about new technologies and how they can be applied to solve business challenges.
