IQVIA provides a number of different solutions and technologies to clients in the Healthcare industry, that range from Data on pharmaceutical products, BI platforms to enable clients to consume and analyse the data, CRM solutions and a number of web-based applications.

We have a new role for a Sales specialist based in our Sydney office, who will join our Account Management team, with a specific focus and ownership of our Technology portfolio. You will be the subject matter expert for specific technology products which will require technical and scientific expertise.

Working across multiple accounts alongside the account managers, you will lead the sales effort and coordinate the service approach for the clients. This includes developing, managing, and implementing sales strategies, identifying potential customers, and cultivating existing customer relationships to close deals.

**Role summary:**

+ Primary focus is on IQVIA Tech and Apps product, focusing exclusively on new business/new account acquisition; leads the acquisition of new, high profile clients and focuses on winning large deals for meeting revenue and profit objectives.

+ Focuses exclusively on new business/new account acquisition.

+ Resolve customer complaints, monitor changing customer news and competitor activity.

+ Develops prospects through individual efforts and by participating in organization-sponsored events and campaigns.

+ Prospects for new accounts, secures appointments, determines needs, delivers sales presentations, negotiates terms and conditions, overcomes objections, and closes sales.

+ Develops strategies focused on expanding client base within defined market segments.

+ Prepare sales targets, budgets and reports.

+ Develop strong relationships with internal Technology experts locally and globally, work closely with Sales Principles and Technology trainers to build Technology products portfolio expertise

+ Demonstrate digital knowledge & prior expertise to lead ANZ digital and social internal and external engagement

**The successful candidate will have:**

+ Proven Sales experience in the Technology products space

+ Sound understanding of Technology in general across BI tools, CRM and web-based apps

+ The desire to learn and become a subject matter expert in all IQVIA technology products offered in Australia and New Zealand

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and minimum 3-5 years of prior relevant experience

+ Strong communication and listening skills

+ Previous Healthcare experience would be an advantage

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks at once

+ Business Development and exceptional presentation skills
