Senior Application Developer – Digital Delivery

About the Role

GTP Delivery Service is a software-as-a-service provider which aligns with the NSW Government’s strategy by improving service delivery, streamlining internal government practices and reducing costs. It provides these benefits to its stakeholders including the people of NSW, businesses and NSW government agencies.

The Senior Application Developer will participate in time critical projects using ReactJS, Web API and SQL server stack. The role is also accountable for ensuring smooth deployment and production readiness of all developed functionality, and post go-live production support.

Key challenges in this role will include development of effective software on time and maintaining services to the public and agencies.

About you

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Good experience working in a fully agile software development environment using methodologies .
  • Good experience in modern web technologies like ReactJS.
  • Good experience in micro-services, API and contract driven design and development
  • Good knowledge of ASP.NET MVC 5 and Core 2/3
  • Good experience with DevOps using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good experience with JIRA and GIT Workflows
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery 
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet hard deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Highly collaborative, can-do approach, within and outside the immediate teams
