We have a fantastic, permanent opportunity for a Senior Asset Planner to join our Woolworths Facilities Management (WFM) Team. Join our team in shaping the future of how we efficiently and financially manage our assets in Woolworths!

    The primary objective of this position is to lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies supported by high quality asset management policies, systems and practices to achieve optimal return on investment and effective deployment of the WOW’s, infrastructure and equipment portfolio. About the role

  • Lead a team of planners and schedulers
  • Lead and implement the asset tagging strategy with construction and renewal teams
  • Working closely with stakeholders to embed new processes and ways of working
  • Working with finance of future capital strategy
  • Effectively communicate the maintenance plan strategy to relevant teams
  • Ensure all safety, health, environment and other legislative requirements are met
  • About You

    This role would be suitable for candidates with experience in lifecycle and/or maintenance planning, including those from a regulated environment or within an organisation working to ISO55000, AS/NZS 4536.

  • Qualifications in Engineering or related discipline
  • Sound understanding of asset management principles
  • Well-developed analytical and decision making skills with a focus on strategic objectives
  • Ability to find innovative solutions to difficult problems
  • Ability to show leadership in a team environment or work autonomously 
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Demonstrate proven capability in one of the four following areas:
  • – Asset Management systems, enterprise systems and operating models systems engineering – Engineering/Capital projects planning and execution
    – Reliability, Intelligent assets, analytics and data
    – Asset operations and maintenance strategy
