YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance of credit processes with the Global Credit policy and SOX controls
Manage the relationship with our Financing Partner and manage the Service Level Agreement by Monitoring and addressing Contractual obligations, Financial obligations and Operational deficiencies
Be the main point of contact and support to the Finance and Sales departments
Produce KPI’s and all other pertinent reports on a monthly basis and discuss outcomes with the local business partners and Management
Identify and address market risk and opportunities, and minimize risk of bad debt (Open account and Factoring)
Ensure internal department compliance in relation to the established company governance and department processes
Develop and implement credit and collection best practices for the Asia Pacific region
Be actively involved and support business growth opportunities
Optimize working capital with pro-active and timely collection and with control on doubtful accounts
Gather and maintain all pertinent credit information on customers and on the floor-plan financing program
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
University degree in finance or accounting or equivalent
Background in Credit or finance with 5+ year experience in Credit & Collection within an international environment
Computer literate with excellent command of MS Office and SAP as a plus
Good communication skills (written/oral)
Able to address and coordinate business priorities from Finance and Sales departments
Strong customer orientation (service minded)
Able to develop and apply tactical and operational strategies
Able to meet with tight deadlines and to cope with changes
Capable of handling multiple tasks and to work autonomously with some direction
An enquiring mind, supportive of continuous process improvement
Team oriented working attitude
Strong leadership abilities and result & business oriented
This position is based in Botany, Australia.
