Working with the Document Control lead, you will be responsible for thesetup and management of project design and vendor documentation. This includestasks such as registering, classifying, tracking, reporting, scanning, filingand distributing all electronic and hard copy deliverables and otherdocumentation. You will also provide support and mentor the Document Controlteam.

Keyresponsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure the project team have ready access to the latest revision ofproject controlled documents within the document control system.
  • Assist with the establishment and implementation of Project DocumentControl Processes
  • Provide training and support on systems and procedures to projectstakeholders
  • Manage the electronic transfer of documents and data to internal andexternal clients including the development and maintenance of documentdistribution matrices as required.
  • Manage the review and approval of project documentation includingexpediting activities.
  • Liaise with vendors, fabricators and contractors on document controlissues.
  • To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • 6+ years’ experience or demonstrated equivalentknowledge in document control in a technical environment.
  • An extensive understanding of DocumentControl Processes and Expectations
  • Experience with Electronic Document Management systems. Experience inBentley ProjectWise, Aconex, Incite, TeamBinder would be advantageous.
  • Experience working within a diverse environment, providing documentcontrol support for multiple projects/clients simultaneously
  • Dependable communication and client engagement skills. The generalenvironment can be stressful due to resource fluctuations and tight deadlinesand require you to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Intermediate use of MS Office and Adobe Pro
  • Ability to work in a team and individually
