A growing Insurance organisation located in Sydney’s CBD is looking to hire a Senior Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a broad role which includes monthly management reporting, taxation calculations and some Financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a background in Insurance, Underwriting or Insurance Brokering with prior experience in management reporting/month-end.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the monthly management reports
  • Completion of month-end tasks, including Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Preparation of BAS returns and insurance returns
  • Various Financial reporting tasks
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and process improvements
  • Key Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Insurance experience required
  • Prior management accounting experience ideal
  • Prior experience in the preparation of BAS returns preferable
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
