The Discipline of Optometry at the University of Canberra is going through a period of exciting growth. An outstanding opportunity is available for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Lecturer in Optometry.
Reporting to the Discipline Lead, the successful applicant will drive the delivery of high-quality teaching in the specialist areas of clinical practice such as contact lenses, binocular vision, sports vision.
You will hold a PhD in optometry (or a related field) OR an optometry qualification (BOptom/MOptom or equivalent) with extensive clinical experience and/or postgraduate clinical qualifications (Specialist Certificate, MClinOptom) as well as registration with AHPRA as an optometrist in Australia.
