Red Hat is a rapidly growing company supporting more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies.The Red Hat Global Learning Services (GLS) team is looking for a Senior Manager, for training and certification to support and lead the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region to meet their revenue and quality of business commitments, to join us in Melbourne, Australia. In this role, you will plan, lead, and implement programs and initiatives to ensure that we make progress towards our strategy while delivering our goals. In coordination with regional teams, you will build local strategy to maximize sales and revenue and maintain margins. You”ll also lead marketing alignment and collaboration with local and regional teams. You will be expected to guide business through multiple channels, including direct, through Red Hat”s partners, and through GLS partners, and eventually, you will grow business in the enterprise and consumer space.Be responsible for the financial performance of the GLS businessPlan, lead, and manage the deployment of new training offerings and systems in the ANZ regionPlan, lead, and expedite marketing initiatives for GLS businessRecruit, train, manage, and develop key training partners in the ANZ regionLead relationships with key partners to foster business across segmentsReview and assist in structuring regional training proposals for strategic accountsMaintain overall quality of the delivery of training programsCollaborate with other teams to align with go-to-market strategy and position training services offeringsCreate and sustain strategic customer relationships, especially in the federal and public sectorsIdentify and generate new training opportunities from existing leads and customer baseManage forecasts, close deals, record sales activity, and track customer data using company-standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools like (SFDC)Build proposals and quotes of specific solutions to gain new customers and upsell existing accountsWork with the regional team to identify the process requirements vital to conducting business in the ANZ region15+ years of experience, preferably within a professional services business of a software or services companyDemonstrated success having built and managed a training business in a complex or widespread geographyProven record of consistently growing revenue, adding net-new customers, increasing adoption of new technologies, and improving customer satisfaction with company offerings and servicesDemonstrated ability to identify and successfully carry out a go-to-market plan for services, and ideally for training, including both direct-touch customers and a partner channel ecosystemExperience with business planning, development, and pipeline managementExperience with full life cycle sales activities, including account planning, opportunity creation, pipeline management, deal development, and closing dealsInitiative to pull in collaborative resources from the organization and successfully close business where neededExpertise in business training, partner development, and managementAbility to collaborate, coordinate, and persuade multiple stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous and collaborative environmentWillingness to travel up to 50% as needed by the businessRed Hat is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
