We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic leader to join our Oncology team in the role of Senior Medical Advisor, for products in our industry leading Haematology portfolio.

You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and developing and executing therapeutic area-aligned strategies to ensure safe and effective use of our medicines, ultimately driving improved outcomes for patients.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

+ Develop aligned therapeutic area strategies and drive execution of medical affairs-related activities including data generation, scientific & clinical communication plans and medical education activities to deliver positive outcomes for Healthcare professionals and patients

+ Proactively establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with leading specialists to support business priorities

+ Lead and continue to develop a high-performing team of Medical Science Liaisons

+ Maintain oversight and financial management of project-related budgets

This role will report into the Medical Affairs Director – Oncology.

+ Strong customer focus and sense of urgency, with a demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and deliver on projects

+ Ability to effectively collaborate and influence a wide range of stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes

+ Established experience as a Medical Advisor or similar role in the pharmaceutical industry

+ Experience in oncology or immunology

+ Prior people management experience essential

+ Prior product launch experience preferred

+ Medical Degree/ PhD essential
