The Opportunity
We are on the look out for a Senior Owners Corporation Manager who is looking to step off the tools and gain some exposure in the business management area. This role will report to the General Manager and will work alongside Area Development Managers to develop and implement effective policies and procedures, best practice guidelines and provide subject matter expertise to Ace’s national franchise network.

There is the opportunity to step up and assume 2IC responsibility when needed. If you do not have prior management experience, that’s okay… we will provide you with coaching and development to lead and mentor some team members to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to specific technical Owners Corporation queries from the franchise network;
  • Act as an escalation point for complex strata management issues;
  • Ensure work performance and service delivery is consistent and compliant with current legislation and Ace policies and procedures;
  • Establish standard operating procedures and best practice guidelines for Ace franchisees to adopt in the management of their business and schemes;
  • Work with franchisees at an individual level for business planning and establishing growth targets;
  • Facilitate training specific to strata management, business planning and portfolio growth; and
  • Network and engage with property developers, set up new builds and complex properties and liaise with local Ace franchisees to ensure a smooth transition.

The right person will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an OC Manager looking after buildings of various sizes and complexities;
  • Experience managing conflict, resolving disputes and handling complaints;
  • A strong understanding of the Owners Corporation Act 2006;
  • Previous experience working in real estate/property management or experience managing an OC or real estate business; and
  • Knowledge or experience in franchising is highly desirable.
