The Senior Project Manager is a key role for our transport business. In addition to managing major projects, you will also take on the role of Project Director across a range of smaller projects to lead and mentor more junior project and design managers to give them the best opportunity to succeed for the client and ensure robust financial performance. This includes the conduct of reviews during the bid stage, ensuring project managers carry out correct and timely project setup and that projects are planned and executed in accordance with KBR’s procedures and best practices. The project director provides guidance, support and oversight to their Project Managers while providing senior level project liaison with the client and the KBR Transport Market Sector.
As a senior project manager, you will be responsible for all phases of project planning and execution, mainly on larger size transport projects. This includes the day to day contact and communication with clients, ensuring that they are satisfied with our services. As a senior project manager, you may also serve as the proposal manager of large domestic project proposals.
**Who are you?**
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has good knowledge of the NSW Transport industry.
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Engineering with a minimum 15 years of project and design management experience delivering multidisciplinary design/consulting deliverables within the transport sector.
Excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to engage with a range of key stakeholders whilst achieving desired outcomes. Experience managing complex budgets is also very important.
