Speech Pathology are looking for Speech Pathologist – Senior to join their Logan Hospital team. The purpose of this role is to deliver senior Speech Pathology services within acute inpatient clinical caseloads (including the Medical Assessment and Planning Unit ( MAPU), Emergency Department (ED), the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the general medical and surgical wards.

About the Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver senior Speech Pathology services within acute inpatient clinical caseloads (including the Medical Assessment and Planning Unit ( MAPU), Emergency Department (ED), the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the general medical and surgical wards. This position will be required to provide a weekend speech pathology service to the acute inpatient wards.
Delivering high quality evidenced based Speech Pathology clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning multidisciplinary team.
Contribution to the advancement of quality Speech Pathology services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
Participating in and assisting with the development of relevant quality and research initiatives in conjunction with the senior staff.
To provide supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA’s).
