About the Role
Provide support for technical architects which includes 2nd and 3rd level support and maintenance services for all technical architecture. You will work directly with Unix System administrators to ensure the delivery of servers and application services.
Timely resolution of assigned 2nd / 3rd level Help Desk Technical Production Issues and requests to meet designated SLAs.
Analyse, design and implement client enhancement requirements and rectifications related to the technical architecture under general direction and guidance.
Help maintain the development environment plus contribute to the analysis, design and implementation of enhancements or improvements to the development environment.
Implement and maintain the testing environments, tools and scripts
Experience with Unix Administration
Possess ITIL Foundation certification or achieve it within 3 months of starting in the role.
Must maintain good working relations with client personnel, particularly those involved in Unix System support and Incident Management.
Proven ability to work in a dynamic team environment with changing priorities.
Mentors junior team members and provides relevant ‘On the Job’ instruction when required.
Ability to learn and share new skills within the whole support team to promote cross skilling.
