Response Service (IVPRS) is responsible for strategic leadership, clinical service provision and capacity building for the portfolio areas of sexual assault, domestic violence and child protection.&nbsp;</span></div> <div align="justify">&nbsp;</div> <div align="justify"><span style="font-size:small">The Sexual Assault counsellor<em> </em>is responsible for the provision of specialist therapeutic and case management services to adult and child victims of sexual assault and their non-offending family members, including the provision of crisis counselling &amp; margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px">&nbsp;</p> <p align="center" style="font-family:Arial; margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px"><span style="font-size:small"><span style="font-size:small">————————————————————-</span></span></p> <div align="justify">&nbsp;</div> </div> </div> <div> <div><span><span style="font-size:small"><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></span></span></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><span style="font-size:small">Qualification:&nbsp;Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling&nbsp;<br /> Registration:&nbsp;Eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership.&nbsp;</span></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><span style="font-size:small"><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></span></div> <ol style="font-size:10pt"> <li>Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling and eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership. </li> <li>Demonstrated experience working in sexual assault service delivery settings, with skills in the delivery of sexual assault medical or crisis services.</li> <li>Demonstrated high level assessment, case formulation, intervention planning (including case management) and counselling skills with children, young people and adults, with capacity to implement a range of therapeutic models.</li> <li>Demonstrated high level understanding of the inter-related dynamics and effects of sexual assault, physical abuse and neglect and domestic violence and a commitment to integrated models for working with clients who have experienced trauma and abuse.</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of current policies and legislation relating to sexual assault and other forms of interpersonal violence and knowledge of legal systems involved in sexual assault service provision.</li> <li>Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated capacity to work with in partnership with others.</li> <li>Experience in, or commitment to, working with individuals and families from indigenous backgrounds and/or diverse cultural backgrounds.</li> <li>Current Driver&rsquo;s License valid in Australia</li> </ol> </div> <div style="font-size:10pt"> <p style="font-family:Arial;
