We are now seeking a suitably experienced Onsite Administrator to join the Boart Longyear Operations team.

**Role Summary:**

Based at one of our Underground WA sites, this position will provide support to the operations in Drilling Services on all administrative tasks for the Western Australian Underground division. On a 4:3 day roster the successful candidate will drive the administrative logistics around new starters and current staff on mobilizations and administrative duties.

**Key Role Outputs:**

+ Travel coordination, including: booking of site travel requirements for field employees and the main point of contact for all emergency travel for site personnel

+ Site access – including booking medicals and NPC’s, flights and a accommodation

+ General administrative tasks, such as: expense claims and Amex/ Visa reconciliation, raising and processing POs and invoices, filing and database maintenance

+ Retrieve daily diary notes for the rigs and export data into clients DAR (Daily Activity Report) template

+ Be the first point of contact for majority of situations with crew and passing along information to management if required

+ Working closely with the client regarding all certs, training, ATW, EHS, inductions, Compliance etc.

+ Monitoring and managing Training Matrix to ensure everyone is competent

+ Work closely in management of crews with supervisors

**Key Requirements:**

+ FIFO experience desirable

+ 3+ years administration

+ Working with travel booking systems

+ Understanding of working across multiple sites (desirable)

+ Previous experience in high paced, complex business environments

+ Must have a high level of computer aptitude including MS Office suites

+ Demonstrated a strong commitment to cost control/ cost management

+ Excellent written/ oral communication skills

+ Obtaining up to date National Police Clearance

+ Be able to complete Boart Longyear Medical assessment

**Job Responsibilities:**

Coordinates departmental projects, follows up on pending details, coordinates team activities and ensures deadlines are met. May monitor department or project budget, keeping manager apprised of budgetary status. Schedules appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements and coordinates activities between departments and outside parties. Answers telephones, screens calls and forwards messages. Sorts and forwards mail as appropriate. Composes, prepares, edits and proofreads letters, reports and other correspondence. Typically uses software packages for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics and desktop publishing applications. Operates general office equipment such as personal computer, scanner, copier, calculator, fax or other office machines. Completes expense reports for processing.

**Education and Experience:**

Typically requires a High School diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 1+ years of directly related experience.
