Proficient with CRM technologies (or other enterprise business applications) and be able to present to both business and technical audiences.
Day-to-day management of the ECS Solution Engineering team to understand customer goals and assist in mapping and creating compelling solution demonstrations to address these goals and demonstrate how they fit into the Salesforce product portfolio.
Provide guidance to the ECS SE team on sales strategies, approaches to solving complex challenges, as well as the ability to represent the team’s needs to executives.
Active participation in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and ability to balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment.
Present Salesforce technology infrastructure and platform – including architecting & demonstrating deep familiarity with hardware, software and security solutions.
Participate in all appropriate product, sales, technical training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position.
Attain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with Solution Engineering leadership.
Help in responding effectively to RFIs/RFPs.
Able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Sales management, Product Marketing, Development, and Customer success to gain commitment and support.
10+ years of professional experience with a proven successful track record of leadership within a well-regarded and branded technology company. Should have served as a successfully individually contributing Solution Engineer in the past.
2+ years of Solution Engineering Leadership experience.
Possess the intellect and the executive presence to become a true business partner across functions.
Proven leader who is capable of contributing to broader business conversations beyond his/her functional expertise.
Comfort in public speaking and presenting to both internal and external Executive audiences.
Must have resiliency and tenacity to be successful in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing environment and a reputation for unquestionable ethics and integrity.
Solid track record in building, developing and recruiting high- performance teams based on a large network of talent in the software and systems industry.
Big thinker striving to make a big impact and unwilling to accept mediocrity.
Demonstrated experience in working directly with customers at the C level of an organization, as well as working with industry partners and alliances.
Experience managing in a complex, high-growth environment.
