About the Role
 

*
Review and protocolling of requests for cardiovascular CT and MRI.

*
Prescription of heart rate control and vasodilation medication for cardiac imaging patients, particularly with respect to CTCA.

*
Supervise the performance of cardiac CT and MRI studies as well as other clinical diagnostic procedures, and provide appropriate intervention, diagnostic interpretation, reporting and communication of results to referring practitioners in a timely and clinically relevant manner.

Participation in quality control, teaching and research activities within the department. E.g. Fellow supervision and training, journal club, case review meetings.
