Clipex is looking for a Supply Chain Manager who possesses exceptional values and a clearly demonstrable ability to oversee and manage the supply chain for Clipex and associated Branches.

About the role
Reporting to the Founder, as Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for managing supply to meet sales demand.  You will oversee and manage a team to ensure the supply chain operates in an effective and efficient manner. As part of this role, you will positively contribute and participate within the Clipex Senior Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate supply chain activities through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs to meet (exceed) customer satisfaction goals
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate activities related to the sourcing and procurement of materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand
  • Work directly with sales and other team members to determine the most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers
  • Monitor and correct inventory levels at warehouses to maximize working capital
  • Work with freight forwards and transportation companies to achieve best outcomes
  • Be a key member of the operations team, report on KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary
  • Work closely with NOHC (our manufacturing plant in China) to maximise the effectiveness of our resources and collaboratively look for production volume and planning benefits with NOHC 
  • Work closely with our Warehouse, Logistics and Procurement team at our Brisbane Warehouse and Distribution centre to ensure DIFOT to our farming customers and our Australian branches

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Previous supply chain management experience in a complex organisation or operation for 5 years
    • The ability to monitor and drive outcomes for your team
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, coach and lead high-performing teams
    • Demonstrated high analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience in ERP systems. Oracle Netsuite experience would be an advantage.
    • Previously worked in the manufacturing industry
    • Strong procurement/purchasing history including overseas suppliers 
    • Have identified improvements to a supply chain and followed through with implementation
    • Natural relationship builder
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with overseas suppliers
