Permanent$79K + superLogan locationOur client is looking for a Support Facilitator to join their growing business, principally responsible for service delivery at a branch level and the management of day to day office duties and support facilitators.Reporting to the Branch Manager, your role is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers in providing innovative and flexible support to people with disabilities and their families .Primary Duties include;To strengthen and contribute to a client in a safe and friendly environment.To supervise the Support Staff in implementing therapeutic goal-oriented support services to the clients within their caseload.Maintain close positive working relationships by developing close links with Support Facilitators, employees and external stakeholdersProvide disability support coordination at a service delivery level to further enhance the services offered to clientsResponsible for On-Call DutiesQualifications preferred:Relevant degree with relevant experience; orAssociate diploma with substantial experience; orQualifications in more than one discipline; orAttained through previous appointments, service and/or study an equivalent level of experience and expertise to undertake the range of activities required.Current QLD open class driver’s license;Working with Children’s Check and/or Disability Services CardFirst Aid Certificate or willingness to obtainKey responsibilities:Undertake responsibility for a moderately complex project, including planning, co-ordination, implementation and administration;Undertake a minor phase of a broader or more complex professional assignment;Assist with the preparation of or prepare organisation or program budgets in liaison with management;Set priorities and monitor workflow in the areas of responsibility;Provide expert advice to employees classified at lower levels and/or volunteers;Exercise judgment and initiative where procedures are not clearly defined;Understanding of all areas of computer operation to enable the provision of advice and assistance when non-�standard procedures/processes are required;Monitor and interpret legislation, regulations and other agreements relating to occupational health and safety, worker’s compensation and rehabilitation;Undertake duties that require knowledge of procedures, guidelines and/or statutory requirements relevant to the organisation;Plan, co-ordinate, implement and administer the activities and policies including preparation of budget;Develop, plan and supervise the implementation of educational and/or developmental programs for clientsPlease submit your resume online in the first instance in a word format.
