We have multiple opportunities for experienced and passionate Support Workers seeking to be part of a collaborative and supportive team of professionals working together to deliver person-centred supports. The programs are based in the Adelaide metro area, ranging from Northern metro and Southern metro, to Western metro.
The individuals you will be supporting may communicate their needs in a range of ways, requiring experience in interpreting behaviour, communicating non-verbally, and using augmentative and alternative communication systems.

As a Support Worker with Autism SA you will build genuine relationships with the people you support by helping them live their best life and achieve their full potential. We incorporate evidence-based practices into our supports and strive to ensure our staff are well trained and supported to successfully provide our wide range of individuals and/or groups the very best supports and services.
You have the exciting opportunity to join us and consider aligning your skills and interests to a variety of our metro programs. The options range from Supported Independent Living, Individualised Day Options, and Community Based Supports. We have opportunities to work with teens or adults and in a range of locations which may be best suited to you.
You will have the privilege of assisting individuals in developing vital life-skills and living as independently as possible whilst achieving their goals.
Furthermore, you could have the opportunity to be involved in the development of new programs.
Experience supporting people on the autism spectrum and of differing abilities will be highly regarded. Essential to this role is your passion to learn more and develop your skills in all support areas.

What you’ll need
Ideally, you’ll have one of the following: Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate III in Community Services, Certificate IV in Youth Work or Certificate III or IV in Disability. Similar qualifications or/and relevant industry/personal experience will also be considered.
