About the role

An opportunity exists for System Engineers to become part of the Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Engineering Team. As a System Engineer you will be a key part of the team supporting the development of the next generation, Integrated Battlefield Telecommunications System for the Australian Defence Force, part of Project Currawong.

  • Responsibilities may include: 

  • Performing system design, integration, modification, system setup and teardown.
  • Conducting complex tests, analyse data and document results; identifying and resolving test anomalies.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex laboratory and test-related problems. Working under minimal direction.
  • To be successful you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant technical discipline (a technical background in telecommunications and information systems, and/or RF communications systems is desirable, but not essential).
  • Ability to perform engineering design, integration and verification.
  • Ability to design and build to relevant engineering standards.
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
